Led by board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Joseph A. Kelling, our Dallas-based practice blends advanced surgical skill with a warm, human approach. Dr. Kelling is respected for his steady, detail-oriented approach and his commitment to results that look natural — not noticeable. His practice includes a full range of aesthetic procedures, with a focus on facial rejuvenation, breast procedures, and body contouring. He remains closely involved in non-surgical care as well, guiding each treatment plan to ensure it aligns with the patient’s goals and supports long-term, balanced results.
Dr. Kelling is a native of Kansas City. He attended Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, where he graduated with honors and played on the nationally ranked Creighton Men’s Basketball Team. Following his undergraduate studies, he continued his education by obtaining his medical degree at the Creighton University School of Medicine.
After medical school, he completed his training at the nationally recognized plastic surgery program at UT Southwestern and Parkland Memorial Hospital. During his training, Dr. Kelling earned distinction as the 2023 Laser Ambassador which is given to a resident that demonstrates exceptional understanding of laser physics and laser patient care. He was also awarded the Bridget Harrison Humanitarian Award, recognizing his excellence in surgical skill, research, and patient care. In 2024 and 2025 Dallas Modern Luxury awarded him numerous distinctions and he was featured in their Modern Men and Dallas Power Players issues.
Dr. Kelling is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons. He has numerous peer-reviewed publications in the Aesthetic Surgery Journal as well as Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the journal. He is also a community faculty member for the UT Southwestern Plastic Surgery Residency, which he feels is one of his greatest honors.
Outside the clinic and operating room, Dr. Kelling loves spending time with his wife and three young children. They often run along the Northaven or KT Trail in Dallas. He enjoys trying all the amazing restaurants that Dallas has to offer. He also loves to play golf and is an avid sports fan. You can find him supporting the Kansas City Chiefs and Creighton Bluejays!
